Everything you need to know before your first class

About the classes

My classes are really geared for ages 0–3, but older kids are always welcome to join in. Not sure if it's a fit for your little one? Just ask — I'm happy to help you figure it out.

Yes — please do! Caregivers are an active part of every class. Your participation — singing, clapping, dancing — shows your child that music is something to engage in together. Plus, it's honestly a great time for adults too.

Wear comfortable clothes you can move in. Shoes come off in the studio, so socks with grip are great for toddlers. Bring a water bottle for you, a snack for your little one if they need it, and a change of clothes if your baby is in an unpredictable stage. Everything else — instruments, scarves, bubbles — is provided.

Each class is live, interactive, and different every time — though always warm and welcoming. You can expect: a hello song, live guitar songs, instrument exploration, sensory play (scarves, bubbles, lights), movement and dance, and a goodbye song — all paced to the energy of the group.

Not at all. No musical ability needed from anyone — me included, honestly. Classes are about play and connection, not performance. If you can hum, clap, or shake a maraca, you're good.

I keep classes small on purpose — usually 6–10 families — so every child gets plenty of attention and the group stays close. It's nothing like a big gym-style class.

Booking a spot

Book right on the Schedule page — Weekly Classes lets you book individual classes one at a time, and Upcoming Sessions is where you sign up for a full term. Spots can go quickly, so it's worth booking ahead.

Yes! Single spots are bookable under Weekly Classes on the Schedule page whenever space allows — a great way to see if Rockin' with Rach is a good fit before joining a full session.

I understand that life with a baby is wonderfully unpredictable! Please let me know at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel. I'll do my best to accommodate make-up classes when possible. Single weekly classes are non-refundable but can often be rescheduled.

Pricing depends on the program and whether you join a full session or book single weekly classes — current options show right in the booking calendar on the Schedule page. Party and event pricing varies by location and group size; get in touch for a quote.

Some classes fill up weeks ahead. If the one you want is full, you can join the waitlist through the contact form, and I'll reach out as soon as a spot opens up.

Party questions

All ages — the whole guest list joins in. The format works really well for mixed groups, whether your guests are babies, bigger kids, or grown-ups. Everyone ends up having fun.

I'd aim for 3–4 months ahead, especially for weekends. The busy months (May, June, September, October) book up fast, so the earlier you reach out, the better.

Yes! I can host at my North York studio, or come to your home or venue. Have a look at the Private Events page for the details.
